Research Summary/Interests

I maintain a scholarly interest in the general area of solute and water transport across epithelial membranes in the lung. I continue to collaborate with colleagues in the Department of Medicine on studies of how the reabsorption of alveolar fluid (pulmonary edema) can be stimulated in patients with acute lung injury.
